LEADING ADVOCACY
EXECUTIVES
The Leading Advocacy Executives Group provides an instant network and peer group of up to 14 executives who are the lead staff member for advocacy. The Council is balanced with senior advocacy executives from associations, businesses and not-for-profits. The Council meets for a full day, three times annually with a focus on best practises in advocacy, communication, and government relations. Guest speakers provide fresh insight into the shifting political and media environment. At each meeting, two or more Members present their most challenging advocacy file for peer evaluation and constructive feedback.
“Every meeting delivers something practical — whether it’s a new strategy for influencing policy, a way to communicate advocacy wins internally, or lessons from how others handled difficult stakeholders. I’ve found it to be a particularly relevant and enriching experience.”
